disneyland trip

Nearly 2 weeks after getting back from Vegas, Brandon and myself were off to Disneyland and Californian Adventure in Anaheim, California! We went with Brandon's dad Jon, his girlfriend Wendi, and Brandon's little sister Ella. We stayed the night before in Salt Lake at Jon and Wendi's house then woke up the next morning at 4 and headed for the airport! It was an early morning for all of us but was worth it because only an hour and a half later we were in southern California baby! and it was 70 degree weather for only being 8:30 in the morning. PARADISE! it was a really cute airport too. It was sooo tiny. the baggage claim was outside! so we got a taxi and headed for Disneyland. We stayed at the Grand Californian Hotel. If you go to Disneyland go check out that hotel it is so amazing inside. I can not describe it to you ever. You just have to see it for yourself. It's located on the Disneyland Resort so I basically never saw the outside world. We spent 5 days at Disneyland and Californian Adventure jumping back and forth from basically 8 am to 11pm. It was a blast. We did everything imaginable! The were getting ready for christmas so the huge tree was decorated in Disneyland and the castle had snow and glistened with lights! Every night they had a huge fire work show above the castle while the colors of the snow on the castle changed colors! It WAS truly magical! I loved every minute! They also had this water show called Fantasmic that outdid the water show at Bellagio! yeah. it was amazing. it went with music and it had colors and was mezmerizing. they had pictures and movies played in the fog above the pond. and mickey came out and had to fight a huge dragon and the evil witch from snow white came out and all characters played a part. It was truly amazing. We took Log rides and while we waited we even got to chit chat with a real Pirate from Pirates of the Caribbean!!

The food there was amazing too.

every morning we went down and had either french toast in the shape of mickey mouse ears or pancakes and a 5 course meal and on one of my breakfasts, I met TIGGER! who I love! IT WAS AMAZING! HAHA. i met sooo many cool characters while i was there! but back to food i tried something there that sounded gross but turned out to be absolutely amazing! its basically deep fried dough so its a pastry type deal with powdered sugar. made into a sandwich and on it was turkey and swiss cheese and you dipped it into grape jelly and it was soooooooooooooooooooo good! =]

i loved it!!

and we also had a fetish for the 6 inch pickles that i love! mm. the food there was soo good.

i could go on.

we did soo many fun things.

there was a huge parade of singers and dancers that performed in Californian Adverture and

we went to the best play ever. it was Aladdan but it was a musical and it was soooo good but it wasn't like a real musical it was soo good the genie made jokes and it was really fun!

I loved the rides too!

my favorites were soaring california.i loved this ride. i think it was genius. you are hanggliding in a building in front of a screen and they put on different parts of California and you have wind in you face and you can smell different smells like oranges and you can feel water and it was soo awesome. tower of terror.<-----that is soo much fun to go on with brandon and jon....oh man=]. splash mountain.spacemountain. the screamin rollercoaster!.indiana jones.pirates of the caribbean. I loved Finding Nemo because it was a submaring ride and you went underwater and saw basically the whole movie. I loved it.Monsters Inc. oh man basically i loved all the rides there. it was a trip of a lifetime!!!! =] We saw "Honey, I shunk the kids" in 3D and Bugs Life in 3D and that was sooo crazy. The had stuff tickle you from under the seat when the bugs were released and it was really fun.

Ella's Birthday.

So for Brandons Little Sister Ella's 2nd birthday Party, all the boys had to dress up as pirates and all the girls had to dress up as mermaids and we all went to an aquarium where we saw some really sweet aqualife. We got to see an octopus, finding nemo fish,sharks jellyfish and we even got to pet a STING RAY!

Brandon's dad Jon was the hit of the party after he had each of us break open our very own clam and search for a pearl. It was a really fun night topped off with pizza and and cake for the birthday girl!

I love telling the story of how i met my brandon.

i work at a place called teton springs and every year we get golf staff that come and work with us for the summer which is very exciting. well last year i started working at the security gate and my sister who also worked there told me that there was a really hott golf guy working here and i needed to see him. so i spent the next 2 weeks looking for this car of his that my sister described. He finally drove through! and I didn't even notice him.... but he noticed me! He couldn't take his eyes off of me and when he rolled down his window to tell me that he worked here, he kind of stuttered the sentence, but I was really into my book so I was like "Okay, whatever" and I really didn't look at him. But he drove off. But all day he kept thinking about me.

The next day or so, He was talking to a guy that I have been working with for a year and was like "so are there any girls around here?" just playing around. And Brian was like "Well you better watch out for Stacey,the girl down at the gate, she is a real flirt!" OH MAN! If I only knew. Brandon said "Well, so am I, so she better watch out!" and it was on.

Then when he came through again and was like " Hey i am Brandon i am the new golf assistant.

I could only say one thing "Hi" because when he said 'new golf assistant I knew this was the guy my sister was talking about... and he was soooo good looking! He gave me the 'to die for' smile and was like "have a good day Stacey" and drove away. I had to go to the club house to drop off my golf cart and I ran into him again and i just couldnt stop staring and he was pretty cute. *hehe*

But while I was up the club house, this other guy started talking to me and was always trying to be near me and while I liked Brandon, we never talked because this guy was always near.

While I was working, I was sitting in my golf cart talking to cars that come in the welcome gate, the guy,Russ, stopped by to hang out and sat with me in my golf cart for like 2 hours! He finally got to the point and asked me out on a date on his birthday. He was new to the area and didn't have anyone that he could hang out with so I said 'Yes'. To make things worse, Brandon ended up driving through and saw him sitting there next to me and gave me a little smirk, talked to Russ and I kind of gave him an 'I wish this was you' look. Later, Brandon told me that he thought at that moment that I had the wrong guy sitting next to me and I thought that was cute.

But then he drove off.

Come to realize, Russ was a little older and had about 2 kids and that made me a little uncomfortable on the idea that he wanted to go on a date with me.

I went and complained to Brian about it and he told me just to suck it up and go out with him and while I was sitting up in Brian's office I was like "oh yeah Brandon!" and I made Brian get on the radio which connects with all the golf staff and tell him to come up to Brian's office. He was like "Um..Brandon....Do you copy?"

Brandon "Yeah, what do you need?"

Brian " Stacey would like to have a word with you up in my office!"

Brandon " Ha Oh boy...I'll be right there"

and then I got on the radio and said " yeah you better put a rush on that"

The best part is that Brandon was right next to Russ when Brian announced this and heard the entire thing.

When he came walking up the stairs to Brian's office, He had this glow in his eyes when he looked at me that made me lose my breath.

He knew exactly what this was about.

I was like "I need help getting out of this date!"

He started laughing but he gave me alot of excuses to get out of this date.

He was not going to let me go on this date with him.

I didn't want to be rude so I insisted that Brandon just come with us.

Yeah.....he didn't like that idea too much. =]

So he told me to tell him that my mom's car ran out of gas in Idaho Falls and I have to go and pick her up. This was the night of the date.... I might add!

So he started walking me out to my car. and was like "You should call me and tell me how it works out." I told him " Well I would I just don't have your number"

and he gave it to me. and told me " just give him that excuse" and I smiled and left and I canceled out on the other guy and texted Brandon and told him that his plan went great! He asked me out on a date two nights later which was his birthday and were absolutely crazy about each other and fell head over heels in love.

New Chapter.Self Discovery.

amazing to think how fast time can fly.

feels like yesterday it was snowing like crazy and everyone was praying for the sun to shine and flowers to blossom.

this summer has been amazing and its not over yet.

i truly found out who i am. and who i want and need to be.

its crazy how you can change dramatically from 3 months.

its crazy how some people can come into lives and change you.

or how people can leave your lives that you never thought would.


this summer i learned about life. i learned about faith. i learned about god.



every single day is a new beginning. because every day that you get to wake up and take a new breath is a miracle. so why not write your own ending? everything really does happen for a reason. sometimes its hard to keep telling yourself that. but someday everything is going to make sense so you have to believe it. god really does have a plan for you. you just have to have faith. and start wanting things out of life.



My summer changed me.



i figured out who i am and what i stand for.

i am me.
well said.
i now know how much i want to do with my life.
and everyday i figure out more and more where i stand and who i am and who i am about to come.

if i were to give anyone advice. it would be to get out there and do it.
make it happen.
because anything really can happen.
=]
its amazing to keep telling yourself that.
change those negative thoughts with optimisic ones and you are one your way to becoming someone!

Make your dreams become a reality.
life is to short.

life everyday as it were your last.
laugh often.
love much.
and dont be afraid to take chances.


it might be just the key to success.....
